I got several scenes that implied he's bi. For example, one time when they served in Afghanistan, Billy and Frank had a chit chat about girls stuff. Suddenly Billy said "you know what? We should spread the wreath." Frank asked him what does 'spread the wreath' mean. Then the conversation was interrupted by their superior. From my understanding, Billy means we should not only try it on girls, also on boys (each other).
